As the main agency for the 'Advanced Converged Technology-Based Bio-Material Commercialization & Mass Production Support Project’ led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Industrial Technology Institute, the Gangneung Science Industry Promotion Agency has achieved notable results. Through this project, they have demonstrated their capabilities with achievements such as commercialization revenue of 2.4 billion won, 14 new hires, six domestic and international sales contracts, and two investments.
Focusing on domestic production of bio-materials and supporting mass production of functional cosmetics utilizing these materials, the agency is committed to strengthening global market competitiveness.
With comprehensive support provided to companies like CrienNature Co., Ltd., NBios Co., Ltd., LogiNL Co., Ltd., JJ Works, Microalgae Earth Co., Ltd., JiWonBio Co., Ltd., Shinseong Biopharm Co., Ltd., and Meta Skin Co., Ltd., they have expanded domestic and international distribution channels and achieved successful exports, firmly establishing market competitiveness.

ISO22716 Certified Facility and Systematic Mass Production System
Based on the Smart Specialization Foundation Building Project by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Gangneung Science Industry Promotion Agency has successfully built a 'Good Manufacturing Practice Facility for Cosmetics’ that is ISO22716 certified. This facility meets strict quality management standards, establishing itself as essential infrastructure for stable cosmetics production.
Upon completion of the cosmetics production equipment installation this March, the Gangneung Science Industry Promotion Agency plans to have a more systematic mass production system fully operational. Through this system, they will offer a wide range of support services and opportunities to utilize production equipment throughout the process of developing, mass-producing, and quality-assuring next-generation cosmetics.
